A really kind donation of a hand made patchwork quilt to fit a single bed or would look gorgeous on a sofa.

Sturdy enough to hold the heaviest flower basket or a bird feeder or lantern.

It weighs 1.5kg and is a matt black finish

Sad news today…

I had an email this morning letting me know that Benny has left us:

Just wanted to let you know that Benny passed away yesterday 14th Feb, he was happy till the end, just slowed down and eventually stopped eating, the fantastic people at Hird and partners took very good care of him, I brought him home and buried him in the orchard, the picture with him in bed was taken on his last day, thank you to everyone at Lurcher link for a wonderful 3 ½ years,

He was one the of the LL “long timers”, staying for 8 years with us before finally finding a lovely new home living in a cabin in woodland spending all his time with his owner who worked “from home” there. It’s very sad he only had 3.5 years in his new home, but also great that he did have that time in his perfect home. Rest easy Benny boy

His original rehoming thread: https://www.lurcherlink.org/llink/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86646&hilit=Benny

It's very much appreciated and I know how much the dogs love the treats and the sardines …and also thank you to the “elves” who delivered them to LL HQ

Christmas Sponsor Certificates

Lu has kindly created some Christmassy Sponsorship certificates for some of our long termer dogs . We've chosen Hallie, Aurora and Bruno as they've all been here for years. If you'd like to send one as a "gift" to a friend /family member, just let me know which of the dogs you've chosen and I'll let you know the Bank details to BACS some money to (or you can use PayPal if you'd rather). Message me or email : kaye@lurcherlink.org and please mark the subject as " Christmas Sponsor Dog" so I can keep an eye out for them.

There's a space on the certificate for you to write the name of the person it's intended for and you can either send it as a png file to save postage (and time) or you can print it off and send it through the post / give it by hand.

I know times are hard for everyone at the mo, so I'm going to say just donate what you can afford to spare.

If you'd like a "special" certificate, I can print one off and send it by post with a LL Christmas card and a LL Christmas pen (see pic) but I'll have to ask for a minimum donation of £10 to cover the cost of postage and the pen & card

This is a (rough) sample to show you what they're like - but obviously they won't have the LL watermark all over them - this is just to prevent spam copies

Bruno

Aurora
