DOGS NEEDING HOMES
We always have a variety of dogs needing new homes. At Lurcher Link, we try to match up each dog to the right home working with details garnered during the homecheck process.
All the dogs that come into our rescue are assessed prior to rehoming and are vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, given a full vet health check and treated for parasites.
Some dogs that come to us need extra veterinary care, which is why we are continuously fundraising. Emergency vet bills, particularly specialist treatment for broken bones etc, can suddenly escalate - quite a lot of dogs are signed over into our care because their owners don't have insurance and can't afford a huge vet bill.
Due to the huge amount of “Post Lockdown” dogs now needing homes, we will also help other rescues by sharing the details of their Lurchers both on here and our online Forum.
